Overview

ChameleonSwap rewards active traders with points based on their trading volume. Earn points for every swap you make, climb the leaderboard, and unlock new leagues as you progress.

How Points Work

Earning Points

Points are earned automatically for every swap you make on ChameleonSwap. The system tracks your trading activity and awards points based on:
  • Trading Volume (USD) - The total value of your swaps in USD
  • Weekly Distribution - Points are distributed weekly based on your trading volume from the previous week
  • Proportional Allocation - Points are distributed proportionally to all traders based on their share of total weekly volume

Weekly Distribution

Points are distributed every week based on the previous week’s trading activity:

Trading Period

All swaps made during a calendar week (Monday-Sunday, UTC) are tracked.

Volume Calculation

Your total trading volume in USD is calculated by summing all swap values (notionalUsd) from that week.

Point Allocation

A fixed pool of points (default: 1,000,000 points) is distributed proportionally:
  • Your share = (Your USD Volume / Total USD Volume) × Total Points Pool
  • Points are rounded to whole numbers

Distribution

Points are credited to your account and appear in your points balance.
Points are distributed automatically by the system. You don’t need to claim them - they appear in your account after distribution.

Viewing Your Points

You can view your points in several ways:

Points Widget

Check the points widget in the navigation bar (top right) when your wallet is connected.

Points Page

Visit the Points page for detailed information about your points, rank, and league.
The Points page shows:
  • Total Points - Your cumulative points from all distributions
  • Rank - Your position on the leaderboard
  • League - Your current league tier
  • Total Value (USD) - Your total trading volume in USD
  • Referral Bonuses - Points earned from referrals (if applicable)

Leagues

Leagues are achievement tiers based on your total points. As you earn more points, you’ll advance through the leagues.

League Tiers

Requirement: 0+ pointsStarting league for all users. Everyone begins here and can start earning points immediately.
Requirement: 1,000+ pointsReach Silver by accumulating 1,000 points through trading. This shows consistent trading activity.
Requirement: 10,000+ pointsAchieve Gold status with 10,000 points. This demonstrates significant trading volume and commitment.
Requirement: 50,000+ pointsReach Platinum with 50,000 points. You’re now among the top traders on the platform.
Requirement: 100,000+ pointsDiamond league requires 100,000 points. This is reserved for the most active traders.
Requirement: 500,000+ pointsThe highest tier - Master league. Achieve 500,000 points to join the elite group of top traders.

Advancing Leagues

Earn Points

Make swaps to earn points. Every swap contributes to your total points balance.

Track Progress

Check your current league and points on the Points page. You’ll see how many points you need for the next league.

Automatic Advancement

When you reach the point threshold for the next league, you’ll automatically advance. No action required!
League advancement happens automatically when you cross the threshold. Your league is updated in real-time as points are distributed.

Leaderboard

The leaderboard ranks all traders based on their total points. Compete with other users to reach the top!

How the Leaderboard Works

Traders are ranked by:
  1. Total Points - Cumulative points from all weekly distributions
  2. Tie-breaker - If points are equal, ranking may consider total USD volume
The leaderboard shows the top 10 traders on the platform:
  • Rank number (1-10)
  • Wallet address (shortened)
  • Total points
  • Total USD volume
Your rank is displayed prominently on the Points page:
  • Shows your position if you’re in the top rankings
  • Updates automatically as rankings change
  • Includes your total points and USD volume

Leaderboard Features

The leaderboard displays:
  • Rank - Position number (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)
  • Address - Wallet address (shortened for privacy)
  • Points - Total cumulative points
  • Total Value (USD) - Total trading volume in USD
The leaderboard updates after each weekly distribution. Rankings may change as new points are distributed.

Referral Bonuses

Earn bonus points through the referral system! When you invite friends or are invited by someone, you can earn additional points.

Types of Referral Bonuses

Inviter Bonus

Earn points when users you’ve invited make swaps. You receive a percentage of their trading volume as bonus points.

Invitee Bonus

Earn bonus points when you’re invited by someone and make your first swaps. A welcome bonus for new users!

Generate Referral Code

Create your referral code after reaching 1,000 USD in trading volume. See the Referrals guide for details.

Share Your Code

Share your referral code or link with friends. When they use it, they become your invitees.

Earn Inviter Bonus

When your invitees make swaps, you earn bonus points based on their trading volume. These points are added to your total.

Earn Invitee Bonus

If you were invited by someone, you may receive bonus points for your initial swaps as a welcome bonus.

Viewing Referral Bonuses

On the Points page, you’ll see:
  • Total Points - May include a breakdown showing points from referrals
  • Referrals Volume - Total USD volume from users you’ve invited
  • Bonus Breakdown - Separate display of inviter and invitee bonuses (if applicable)
Referral bonuses are distributed along with weekly point distributions. They appear in your total points balance.

Understanding Your Points Data

Points Breakdown

The Points page provides detailed information:
Your cumulative points from all sources:
  • Base points from your own swaps
  • Inviter bonus points (from referrals)
  • Invitee bonus points (if you were referred)
Your total trading volume in USD across all swaps. This is the basis for point calculations.
Your current position on the leaderboard. Lower numbers are better (1st place is rank #1).
Your current league tier based on total points. Hover over the info icon to see all league requirements.

Points History

While individual swap points aren’t displayed in real-time, you can track:
  • Weekly point distributions (through your total balance)
  • Cumulative progress toward next league
  • Ranking changes over time

Tips for Earning More Points

Trade Regularly

Consistent trading throughout the week increases your share of the weekly distribution pool.

Higher Volume

Larger swap volumes result in more points. Your share is proportional to your USD volume.

Invite Friends

Build a referral network to earn bonus points from your invitees’ trading activity.

Stay Active

Regular trading helps maintain your rank and league position. Don’t let your points stagnate!
