Overview

The ChameleonSwap Referrals Program lets you invite friends, reward their trading, and unlock extra benefits when you are a KOL (Ambassador). Referral codes are wallet-bound, can be customized, and weekly points and revenue share depend on invitee trading volume and KOL tier.

How the Referral System Works

Generating Your Referral Code

Reach minimum volume

Trade at least 1,000 USD in total swap volume to unlock code generation.

Open Referrals / Points

Connect your wallet. When eligible, a generate button appears on the Referrals (or Points) page.

Generate your code

Click to create a unique code bound to your address. It works immediately after creation.

(Optional) set a custom code

Replace the original code with your own string. The previous code stops accepting claims; the new one is the only active code.

Your Referral Code

Once generated you have:
  • Unique Code – alphanumeric, bound to your address
  • Referral Link – https://chameleonswap.xyz/?ref=YOURCODE
  • Custom code – optional, easier to share; it replaces the old code
After setting a custom code, share only the new code/link—the old code no longer accepts claims.

How to Claim a Referral Code

Get a code or link

Receive a code from a friend or KOL, or open a link with ?ref=CODE.

Connect your wallet

Go to https://chameleonswap.xyz/ and connect your wallet.

Confirm the claim

On Referrals / Points, enter the code (or use the prefilled one) and confirm. After a successful claim the input disappears, and the inviter address plus bonus banner are shown.

Important Rules

  • One claim per wallet: claiming is permanent; you cannot switch later.
  • No self-referrals: you cannot use your own code.
  • Custom code owner only: only the owner can replace a code; the previous code stops working.
  • UI after claim: the code field hides, inviter address is shown, and a 20% or 30% bonus banner appears (30% when the inviter is a KOL with the Ambassador label).

Automatic Code Detection

Opening a link with ?ref=CODE pre-fills the code in the app. You still confirm the claim manually.

Viewing Your Invitees

Total Referred

Number of addresses that claimed your code.

Invitees List

Invitees with addresses and claim dates. KOLs are marked with the Ambassador label.
Invitee volume updates after their swaps are processed and may appear with a short delay.

Sharing Your Code

Copy the code and share it across X/Discord/Telegram/communities.
After setting a custom code, only the new code works—share that one.

Earning Referral Bonuses

How referral points are calculated

Volume tracking

Weekly USD volume of all invitees linked to your code is tracked.

Inviter bonus

You earn points proportional to invitee volume. If you are a KOL, the bonus is multiplied by your KOL tier.

Invitee bonus

Invitees get a weekly boost to their own points: 20% standard or 30% when the inviter is a KOL (shown via a banner).

Weekly distribution

Referral bonuses are added during the weekly points distribution and appear on the Points page.

KOL (Ambassador) tiers and multipliers

  • KOL status is address-bound and displayed as Ambassador in the UI.
  • Weekly referral volume determines tier and multipliers:
    • Tier 1: 0–100k USD → 1.3× referral points + 15% revenue share
    • Tier 2: 100–200k USD → 1.4× referral points + 30% revenue share
    • Tier 3: 200k+ USD → 1.5× referral points + 50% revenue share
  • Invitees referred by a KOL see the 30% bonus banner and the Ambassador label next to the inviter.

Revenue share for KOLs

  • Calculated weekly from KOL referral volume and tier (15/30/50%).
  • Each week writes a separate revenue-share record; previous weeks are not overwritten.
  • Revenue share accrues automatically alongside points—no user action needed.

Eligibility Requirements

To Generate a Referral Code

You must meet these requirements:
  • ✅ Minimum Trading Volume: at least 1,000 USD total swap volume
  • ✅ Connected Wallet: your wallet must be connected to ChameleonSwap
  • ✅ Active Account: no account restrictions

To Claim a Referral Code

Anyone can claim a referral code:
  • ✅ No minimum volume required
  • ✅ Just need a connected wallet
  • ✅ One-time claim that cannot be changed later
Switching to a custom code does not change existing invitees; it only affects new claims.

Best Practices

Share actively

Share your current (or custom) code in the channels your community uses.

Provide value

Help new users with their first swaps—their volume drives your bonus.

Track performance

Watch invitee volume on Referrals / Points, especially when targeting higher KOL tiers.

Build community

Grow around your code; as a KOL you reach higher multipliers and revenue share faster.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure you have at least 1,000 USD volume.
  • Confirm your wallet is connected.
  • Refresh if the button does not appear after eligibility is met.
  • The wallet already claimed a code (one-time claim).
  • The code was replaced by a new custom code.
  • You are trying to use your own code.
  • Invitees have not confirmed the claim.
  • List and volume may appear with a short delay.
  • An old code was shared—provide the current custom code.
  • Invitees have not traded yet.
  • Bonuses post in the weekly distribution—wait for the next run.
  • If you are a KOL, check that your weekly referral volume reaches the next tier.
