How the Referral System Works

Generating Your Referral Code

To generate a referral code, you need to meet the eligibility requirements:

Reach Minimum Volume

You must have at least 1,000 USD in total trading volume on ChameleonSwap. This ensures active traders can participate in the referral program.

Visit Referrals Page

Navigate to the Referrals page (/referrals) and connect your wallet if not already connected.

Generate Code

If you meet the requirements, your unique 5-character referral code will be generated automatically. The code is permanent and unique to your wallet address.
Your referral code is generated once and remains the same forever. You cannot change or regenerate it.

Your Referral Code

Once generated, you’ll receive:
  • Unique Code - A 5-character alphanumeric code (e.g., ABC12)
  • Referral Link - A shareable link: https://chameleonswap.xyz/?ref=YOURCODE
  • Permanent - The code never expires and cannot be changed
You can copy both your code and referral link directly from the Referrals page. Use the copy buttons for easy sharing.

If someone has shared a referral code with you, you can use it to support them and potentially earn bonus points yourself.

Receive a referral code or link from a friend, or find one through community channels.

Go to https://chameleonswap.xyz/ and connect your wallet.

Enter the Code

Navigate to the Referrals page (/referrals) and enter the referral code in the “Claim Referral Code” section.

Claim the Code

Click “Claim” to use the referral code. The system will verify and link the code to your wallet.

Important Rules

One Code Per User: You can only use one referral code in your lifetime. Once you claim a code, you cannot change it or use a different one.
No Self-Referrals: You cannot use your own referral code. The system prevents this automatically.
Already Referred: If you’ve already claimed a referral code, you cannot claim another one. Make sure you choose wisely!

Automatic Code Detection

If you visit ChameleonSwap using a referral link (e.g., https://chameleonswap.xyz/?ref=ABC12), the code may be automatically detected. You’ll still need to claim it on the Referrals page.

Viewing Your Invitees

On the Referrals page, you can see:

Total Referred

The number of users who have successfully used your referral code.

Invitees List

A detailed list of all users you’ve invited, including their wallet addresses and join dates.

Invitee Information

For each invitee, you can see:
  • Wallet Address - Their wallet address (for verification)
  • Join Date - When they claimed your referral code
  • Trading Volume - Their total USD trading volume (if available)
Trading volume for invitees is calculated from their swap history and may take time to update.

Sharing Your Code

You can share your referral code in multiple ways:
Click the “Copy code” button to copy just your 5-character code. Share it via:
  • Social media
  • Messaging apps
  • Email
  • Community forums
Share your code or link anywhere you communicate with potential users:

How Bonuses Work

When users you’ve invited make swaps on ChameleonSwap, you earn bonus points:

Invitee Makes Swaps

Users who claimed your referral code start trading on ChameleonSwap.

Volume Tracking

The system tracks their trading volume in USD from all their swaps.

Bonus Calculation

You earn bonus points based on their trading volume. The bonus is calculated as a percentage of their volume.

Weekly Distribution

Referral bonuses are distributed along with weekly point distributions. They appear in your total points balance.

Types of Bonuses

Inviter Bonus

You earn this when users you’ve invited make swaps. The more they trade, the more bonus points you receive.

Invitee Bonus

You receive this if you were invited by someone. New users may receive welcome bonus points for their initial swaps.

Viewing Your Bonuses

You can see your referral bonuses on the Points page:
  • Total Points - May show a breakdown including points from referrals
  • Referrals Volume - Total USD volume from all your invitees
  • Bonus Details - Separate display of inviter and invitee bonuses (if applicable)
Referral bonuses are added to your total points during weekly distributions. They’re not separate from your base points.

To Generate a Referral Code

You must meet these requirements:
  • ✅ Minimum Trading Volume: At least 1,000 USD in total swap volume
  • ✅ Connected Wallet: Your wallet must be connected to ChameleonSwap
  • ✅ Active Account: Your account must be in good standing

Anyone can claim a referral code:
  • ✅ No minimum volume required
  • ✅ Just need a connected wallet
  • ✅ Can claim immediately after connecting
The eligibility requirement for generating codes (1,000 USD) ensures that active traders can participate. However, anyone can use a referral code to support their inviter.
